Former Caneyville Police Chief Now Part-Time Officer with Clarkson

A former Caneyville police chief has been hired by the Clarkson Police Department.

Former Caneyville Police Chief Anthony Clark was recently sworn-in by Clarkson Mayor Bonnie Henderson. The move to hire Clark comes after former full-time officer Blake Elmore scaled back to a part-time position. Clark will also serve as a part-time officer. The Clarkson PD is now comprised of Chief Buck Meredith, Elmore and Clark. Clark retired last year as Caneyville police chief after working for the department for more than 30 years. He also served for many years as the Caneyville fire chief.
