Red Ribbon Week started yesterday in Clarkson! The City Commission has declared the week of October 22nd - 31st Red Ribbon Week. This year’s theme is “Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free.” The City encourages businesses, churches, and homes to display red ribbons this week to show their support for getting drugs out of our community and emphasizing the importance of leading a drug free lifestyle.
The students and staff at Clarkson Elementary will also be recognizing each week day of Red Ribbon Week by wearing different types styles of clothing and are asking the community to participate as well.
